Position Overview

The Senior Creative Producer will be responsible for the production of high-complexity content pieces. This position is responsible for defining the creative production scope, developing estimates, timelines, and milestones, planning, and managing budget allocations, managing internal/external resources, facilitate reviews and communication, and ensuring production requirements are met. The Senior Creative Producer might oversee a small team of Creative Producers and work with internal studio teams and external vendors, depending on the scope of assigned jobs. The Senior Creative Producer reports to the Associate Director of Creative Production or higher. 

Key Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate an interdisciplinary team that includes Producers and Artist; and oversee and manage the overall event content deliverables and calendar for complex content production projects.  

• Independently produce high-complexity content projects from concept to final deliverables.

• Define and manage the creative production scope, including estimates, timeline, resources, effort, and external costs.

• Manage internal creative teams to ensure deliverables adhere to Creative Director's vision.

• Work closely with creative leads, sales, and program producers to proactively clarify requirements and deliverables when there is ambiguity.

• Actively look for opportunities to raise the bar with the creative execution.

• Identify, negotiate with, and manage internal studio or external resources for assigned projects. 

• Ensure all deliverables meet stakeholder expectations, including adherence to business, creative, and brand guidelines, achieving the highest standards every time. 

• Investigate and develop new content creation models to improve turnaround time and open up new production methods.  

• Review show reports and participate in post-show review calls to identify challenges, find solutions, and determine training opportunities. 

• Strengthen working relationships between internal and external clients and other stakeholders. 

• Demonstrate integrity and navigate through creative challenges with insight and patience, always modeling exemplary production skills.

• Lead conversations with internal and external clients to present concepts and ideas ensuring that the product always meets customer objectives. 

• Respond to customers’ proposal requests and assess their needs and propose the right creative content solution for the most complex events.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop creative solutions to critical media production challenges, always looking to improve turnaround time.

• Model production best practices and serve as an example to all teammates always striving to deliver a high-quality creative product. 

• Mentor team, facilitating individual and team production-skills development. 

• Foster and maintain a positive work environment. 

• Responsible for adhering to established project schedules and deadlines providing deliverables in a timely and accurate fashion.

• Produce high-quality work that meets the standards expected by internal teammates and external clients.

• Demonstrate the ability to translate effectively and accurately any and all Creative Direction provided into assigned projects and deliverables.

• Demonstrate proactive communication skills with the Associate Director of production and team members; project concerns or red flags should be raised immediately so issues can be addressed in a timely manner.

• Maintain timely communications via email, teams chat, or phone when working at the office, and especially when working remotely.

• Ability to work on multiple deliverables and projects at the same time without sacrificing quality.

• Keep all project data and timesheet information up to date in the Project Management software.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 

• 5+ years of Creative Production or Agency experience

• Strong working knowledge of the fundamentals—Video Production, Motion Graphics, brand development, creative process—and new platforms and technologies.  

• Strong written and oral communication skills 

• Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations  

• A team player who works well in collaboration with the rest of the organization.  

• Strong client relationship skills 

• Calm under pressure, especially during live, virtual, and hybrid events, as well as other high-pressure, client-facing scenarios  

• MS Office experience required 

• Working Knowledge of Adobe's CC suite.  

• Video editorial and design capabilities are a plus.  

• A reel and creative portfolio of relevant Work that demonstrates the range, experience, and flexibility 

• A quick learner who is adaptable to new situations and processes 

• Manage all projects in the current Project Management software, making sure it is always up-to-date and correct

Work Environment

Office

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
