Manage the procurement of equipment and labor through internal resources within a specified region while ensuring the utmost in customer satisfaction. Oversee the transportation process between regional locations. Contribute to and implement overall business strategies related to developing additional subrental and labor broker relationships while negotiating preferential pricing plans on behalf of the company. Oversee labor sharing of part-time personnel and contractors to maximize resources and reduce overall labor costs. Assist with centralized technical skill identification, scheduling, and timekeeping as needed.
Key Job Responsibilities
Work closely with local and national teams to develop logistics plans resulting in maximum utilization of company owned equipment within the region and nationwide. Gather equipment shortage data, review details of associated events, and source equipment from internal locations to fulfill those needs. Oversee equipment vendor relations, internal equipment transfers, transportation logistics, quality control process, with an emphasis on subrental consolidation and cost reduction.
Work closely with the Hotels and Branch Office to maximize profitability in accordance with monthly labor targets. Attend and actively participate in regular production meetings to assist with maximizing use of full time staff members prior to hiring part time employees or utilizing 3rd party contractors. Oversee the coordination of part time personnel and assist with brokering labor efficiently to reduce costs associated with outside contractor use. Recommend part time personnel in accordance with business needs.
Construct and maintain a log for analyzing equipment and labor usage trends. Work with Product Management to assess product related results that include utilization, costs, revenues, and contribution. Analyze asset utilization, sub-rental, and depreciation data for all locations within assigned region to seek out opportunities to improve financials and improve client satisfaction. Provide regular reports to the RVP to ensure equipment and labor targets are maintained. Assist in developing long-term strategies for maximizing internal resources in an effort to lower costs. Provide detailed labor analytics that reflect usage, costs, and trends. Recommend employee skill level development needs and employee count per location to RVP and work with RVP to implement recommendations.
Review and obtain knowledge of the financial details and equipment of the region to support decisions that are in the best interest of the business. Assist Senior Management with Regional asset needs and CapEx models. Ensure that the most cost effective solution is provided based on local sub-rental costs, shipping costs, and time frame for each event. Provide recommendations and suggestions based on data obtained to assist Senior Management in developing a logistics plan designed to increase efficiency in the national equipment allocation and reduce overall outside costs. Develop strategies and processes to better utilize existing work force to reduce overall labor costs.
Assist other members of the Hotel Services and Branch Operations teams by developing strong rapport with all property managers with the goal of providing support for all internal and external PSAV events. Communication with location Directors and division management to determine the best allocation of equipment and labor for a given event based on the size of the event and needs of the requesting location.
• 3+ years of audio visual operations experience

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. When traveling, work will be completed in a hotel environment with limited exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by PSAV based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
