Senior Director of Sales

REPORTS TO:

Vice President, Sales

LOCATION:

Mississauga

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

Responsible for leading the sales teams in Mississauga, and achieving customer retention and revenue growth objectives through effective sales strategies and action plans required to realize FMAV’s revenue and profitability targets. This position will oversee a team including Directors of Sales and Account Directors.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

· Recruit, on-board, and develop a high potential sales team to meet individual sales performance, customer retention and growth targets

· Work with Account Directors to deploy FMAVs value proposition to create winning sales strategies and gain profitable market share

· Help adjust processes/programs that drive desired sales outcomes

· Maintain regular, effective communication with all team members

· Research, analyze and segment accounts and opportunities

· Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

· Develop annual sales targets and ongoing priorities for all Account Directors. Track and report on KPI metrics

· Coach and hold sales people accountable for key account planning

· Monitor customer, market and competitor activity to develop and implement measures that maximize FMAV’s success

· Be involved in managing key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

· Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction

· Monitor customer, market and competitor activity to develop and implement measures that maximize FMAVs success

· Coach the team on all behaviors and activities, using all key elements of FMAV’s Way Of Selling, including Sandler sales methodology and tools

· Deploy and champion Salesforce.com as a sales team activity planning and sales management reporting tool

· Generate Salesforce reports as required to analyze business and forecast

· Serve as an FMAV brand ambassador with clients, key relationships and industry associations

· Promote FMAV as an employer of choice in your region

· HR - talent sourcing and compensation

· Marketing – sales support resources, industry engagement, campaigns

· Operations - project management/delivery process, customer experience

· Finance – pricing, billing, sales/financial reporting and analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

· 10+ years’ experience of selling within the AV or adjacent (hotel) industry

· 5+ years’ experience in sales leadership

· Demonstrated track record of year over year profitable sales growth
